Mr Lorenzi is a specialist surgeon for cancers of the oesophagus (gullet) and stomach and utilises minimally invasive techniques in most cases.

He was the first surgeon to perform a robotic gastrectomy for gastric cancer in the UK in 2015, and he is one of the few surgeons in the UK who perform totally minimally invasive oesophagectomies for cancer.

He undertakes these procedures as part of his usual practice and Dr O’Hara is the anaesthetist working with him for these major and complex operations. They are both members of the Specialist Upper Gastrointestinal Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) at Broomfield Hospital.

If you need to see Mr Lorenzi for a cancer related procedure, please contact us and we will give you further details.
